3. WHALOM PARK CAROUSEL AUCTION IS GETTING CLOSE
One of the rarest carousels in the world is being sold April 15th. This is the only Looff carousel with 4 Greyhound dogs!!!!!! The collectors are drooling and the local residents are trying to raise
the money to save the carousel for their area. The greyhounds combined with all of the other rare carousel pieces will be the auction of the year. Less then a thousand classic carousels were ever
produced and less then 200 intact machines remain. It's a piece of Americana that continues to dwindle. To help the local community save their carousel you can contact mschester@email.msn.com. To see
more about the auction you can click below: http://www.nortonauctioneers.com/Looff%20Carousel.htm

4. JIM ATEN'S CAROUSEL AUCTION AND PAUSE RESTAURANT OPENING WAS A GREAT EVENT COMBINATION
If you went to the auction you know how much fun it was. Everyone had a great time. Thank you Jim for putting on a great show. Gordon Riewe was the auctioneer and as always he keep everyone smiling
with his banter. Several times the audience stood up and applauded the winning bidder. It was nice to see so many new buyers and collectors getting involved. Without a doubt there were more outside row
standers in this auction then any other auction ever. Jim worked extremely hard to put together the finest consignment auction of the year. Collectors from all over the country purchased new animals for
their collections.
Many of the collectors went to the opening weekend of PAUSE restaurant. This restaurant is the talk of Southern California. It features original trim from the Illion's Circus World Carousel and one of
the finest collections of carousel animals on public display. Now if you need more there is a complete collection of Wurlitzer jukeboxes and a playing Wurlitzer Band Organ!!! When you think that's all
you could have in one restaurant then you turn the corner and see a impressive collection of Baranger animation's, Coke collectibles with much, much more!!!! If your in Pasadena you need to see this.
PAUSE has a website at http://www.pauserestaurant.com/ You need reservations to go, make sure to call ahead.

The carousel is starting to take shape thanks to the fantastic talent of Ed Roth. You can see the progress by going here:
http://www.carousel.com/elkcity
Bookmark this site and go back month after month to see the carousel as it is being created. Both Brass Ring and Elk City are very fortunate to have Ed Roth carving the animals. His talent is in high
demand. Soon the wood trim will begin to take shape. (Yes, The whole carousel is wood). The City of Elk City understands the longevity of wooden carousels. This is a carousel that will be part of
their community for many generations to cherish and enjoy.

6. BRASS RING'S FREE CLASSIFIEDS FOR CAROUSEL COLLECTIBLES CONTINUES TO GROW
Our FREE classified section continues to grow. With over a 1000 people per day looking at the classified site. Our sellers and buyers continue to write us in disbelieve. How can you do this for free?
Our staff was getting continuous emails looking for collectibles. At this time, Brass Ring only sells complete carousels. Our response to all the requests for collectible stuff?: "let's put up a free
site for the carousel community to trade and sell their products to eachother." It's working very well for both the buyers and sellers. The staff wants to thank you for ALL of the emails with success
stories.
