Great news! Two 1915 newspaper articles that mention the Dare carousel were found by museum researcher John Scherer. The articles outline the schedule of the carousel and lauds the carousel for the "clean amusement" it offers to the townsfolk.

June 2001...getting closer to completion. Three of the horses we restored are currently on display at the New York State Museum in Albany.


Progress on the carousel building appears to be moving right along. It won't be long now.
