Albany, New York State Museum's Carousel Restoration Part 5

October 29, 2001

This project is going to be complete before you can say lickety-split! When the center pole comes down, everyone here at Brass Ring knows that a project is moving to its final stages. All that's left to do at the shop is to pack it up as carefully as possible and get it on the road. Next stop, Albany, New York.

The lost art of carousel stenciling has been thoroughly revived on these sweeps.

One of our master painters, Jack Burr works his magic. It takes a lifetime of experience to be able to paint with the confidence and accuracy that Jack does. We are lucky to have him on our team.
